Manufacturer guarantees.
All frames are guaranteed against defects to last a lifetime 35 years plus and are designed to be recovered. Springs carry a 10-year guarantee. Dining chairs carry and 5-year guarantee, Divan beds carry a 5-year guarantee. Headboards one year Guarantee.
Recovers Work is guaranteed for 1 year from delivery and Fabric is guaranteed for 1 year.
New cushion interiors guaranteed 1 year.
Fabrics All fabrics and hides are guaranteed against manufacturers faults for one year. Please note this will not include natural slubs in linens or pile on velvet's or any other natural characteristic that are inherently within the structure of the cloth or hide.
Our sales consultants will discuss in depth what the best fabric or hide should be used for you to ensure all fabrics will perform and last well into the future.
If you need any further information on or rubs counts or durability, please do not hesitate to contact the showroom.
Hide All hides are natural, and they will show a degree of natural marks. This will not be considered a fault but is a natural characteristic of most hides. The only exception to the rule is where the customer has requested a corrective hide. Please ask a member of the team for details.
Customers own material A sample of A4 must be initially forwarded to the showroom to ensure its suitability for upholstery or curtains/blinds to meet and all fabrics must be a min of 137 cm wide.
Once approved the fabric must be accompanied by the relevant cigarette and match test certificate to meet the requirements of Bs2543 please note Helen Wells cannot be held responsible of any faults within the fabric and the customer may need to order additional fabric, if the cutters discover a fault prior to manufacture. Please note: If Helen Wells Interiors Ltd orders the fabric on behalf of the customer, it will be the responsibility of Helen Wells Interiors to source the replacement fabric and not the customer.
All upholstery fabrics supplied by the customer must come with a fire certificate, where there is no fire certificate. We will need to use a barrier interliner to adhere to the current cigarette and match test criteria. The only exception to this rule is where the fabric is considered to be inherently fire retardant.

Cancellations or amendments
Once your order for made to order upholstery or curtains or blinds are processed the order is considered live and we are unable to amend of cancel your order after 72 hours. It will be the customers responsibility to ensure all order details are correct.
If the customer cancels their order after the 72 hours
Helen Wells Interior Ltd reserves the right to hold back or charge the customer 50% of the order value.
Please note however we will of course deal with each order individually and take into account the customers own personal circumstances where possible and offer assistance if and where we can *
Online Only
Items can be returned within 14 days of your purchase, if the item is purchased online or 28 days if purchased in store and must be in the same condition it was received.
Please note customers are required to cover the cost or postage.
In the unlikely event your item is damaged in transit Please report immediately after delivery no later then 48 hours.
Helen Wells Interiors with refund your postage fees.
Thereafter your statutory apply.
Delivery All deliveries for Made to order upholstery and
re upholstery are delivered FOC however in cases where the distance between our Nottingham factory is too great, we may on occasion need to charge an additional fee at time of order.
Please do not hesitate to ask the team at the time of your order if this needs to be a consideration. In the case of online sales only there will be a small charge for each delivery depending on location or weight of each item.
Payment *
A min 70% deposit is required for all made order upholstery and re-upholstery including cabinet furniture and curtains and blinds.
The remaining balance will be payable 14 working days prior to delivery.
Online purchases require 100% payment at time of order. Limitation of Liability.
Except for death or personal injury caused my Helen Wells Interiors negligent acts or omissions. Helen Wells Interiors shall only be liable for any loss or damage which is reasonably foreseeable consequence of the breach of this agreement.

Conditions of sale
All Helen Wells made to order upholstery re-upholstery and made to order cabinet furniture is sold subject to these conditions.
These terms and conditions are governed by English law and both parties agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
